I saw this one clearly right from the start. Gold, Black, and Zebrawood. It leaped off of the bench. With top shelf Tuners by Rubner of Germany, a fine and adjustable Ebony bridge by Cumberland and a tailpiece by Allen, this one will stand out for style and sound. Zebrawood is a hardwood and it’s used here for the neck also, so it weighs a few grams more than Maple, but it’s absolutely worth it. A very close replica of a Lloyd Loar Gibson Mando from the 30’s, it has a unique headstock and scroll that I call the “SoundWave” .
